(But only the good stuff, OK?)

You Really Can Get Satisfaction for Christmas!

This year I got the perfect gift for my BFF, Sheila.

Can you guess what it is?

A Girls' Road Trip To See The Rolling Stones This Spring!!!

Am I the WORLD'S BEST BFF or WHAT?

Since I couldn't gift wrap the tickets (they're electronic) I thought I'd buy her one of those Rolling Stone ornaments so she'd have something under the tree to open.

But then I saw the price of A SINGLE ORNAMENT!

WHAAAAAAAAAAT????????

I think Mick meant to say You Can't Always AFFORD What You Want!

After recovering from sticker shock, I decided to buy Sheila a pack of Rolling Stone playing cards instead. Now we'll be able to play rummy during our road trip. Plus you can decorate a whole tree with them for less than the cost of one ornament! I call that a win-win deal.

And since I often have to coax Sheila to join me on my crazy Rolling Stone Quests (and by coax I mean beg, plead, barter, bargain, bribe) I also decided to get her (and myself) a cool travel cup for our road trip as a little reminder that

WELL BEHAVED WOMEN RARELY MEET ROLLING STONES!

Unfortunately, I couldn't find a cup that said that. So I settled for one that came close.

I included this affordable ornament as well. I'm hoping to prime her brain to start thinking "Fangirl-Crazy Style" now instead of having to warm her up on the trip.

Stay Tuned. I'll let you know how our Thelma-and-Louise-Rolling-Stone-Road-Trip goes this spring.

But for now—I'll be rocking around my little Rolling Stone Christmas Tree.

Hmmm . . . I wonder if they make a Rolling Stone Manger set.

Doubtful.

Highly Doubtful.
